Maddie Bowman is Headed to Aspen

For those of you who don’t already know this local celebrity, Maddie Bowman is kind of a big deal around South Lake Tahoe. Olympic athlete and South Lake Tahoe local, Maddie Bowman dominated in the US Olympic Half-pipe Skiing.maddie-bowman-lead_0After an intense knee injury Maddies has been focusing on rehabbing and getting back on the slopes. As the next adventure for Miss Bowman approaches, we can’t wait to cheer her on. South Lake Tahoe Restaurant Week Begins

Tomorrow, January 9th, marks the start of the 2nd annual South Lake Tahoe Resturant week. We hope you’re hungry becuase 24 of the best of the best in South Lake Tahoe will be participating this year.


Restaurant week in South Lake Tahoe is hosted by Tahoe South and will feature he stellar chefs and outstanding restaurants that make up the South Lake Tahoe culinary scene. Connecting local foodies and visitors with the renownd local eateries, restaurants participating in Restaurant Week will feature specially-priced and prix fixe menus highlighting the theme “Made with Altitude.” There are no passes, tickets or coupons. Instead, diners simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the week to enjoy the special menus.

Hockey Season is the Best Season!

Looking for something fun and unique to do in Tahoe this winter season? Well look no further than the Tahoe Blue Hockey Club. Fun for the whole family, locals and visitors, these hocky games provide pure entertainment for all.


Lake Tahoe’s very own Blue Hockey Club, whom are apart of the Western States Hockey League, are now half way through their season. If you haven’t seen them yet, now is the time to mark them on your calendar!
