If you thought last year’s lineup was sick, then check out what Snow Globe has to offer in 2015! This festival is becoming one of epic proportions and it’s still in its infancy.
Electronic music titans Diplo and Skrillex bring their collaborative project Jack Ü to headline this year’s SnowGlobe Music Festival, along with moombahton masterDillon Francis and Australian electronica musician Chet Faker. This year will be the 5th iteration of the South Lake Tahoe festival, which is the largest New Years’ music event in Northern California and now has a much stronger focus on electronic music.
Beyond the heavyweight acts, other noteworthy talents scheduled to perform this year include deep house producer Duke Dumont, Bay Area rapper E-40, Sydney-based DJ Alison Wonderland, plus former San Francisco resident and electronic music producer Lane 8. Also appearing on the docket are members of the Dirtybird crew: Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, J.Phlip, and Justin Jay.
Advanced tickets for SnowGlobe are on sale now, with a three-day pass starting at $169 (or $199 with shuttle pass) and $379 for a 3-day VIP pass, which comes with a shuttle pass. Once advance tickets sell out, regular ticket prices jump to $189 for 3-day general admission and $449 for a 3-day VIP pass. There might be one ‘last chance’ wave of tickets available after regular tickets are sold, and that pricing is to be determined.
