New Season, New Homes!

This fall we have welcomed multiple new homes into our RnR family. We are expanding in the convenience of Lakeland Village, along the ever-beautiful waterways of the Tahoe Keys, and into the quiet Tahoe Island Park neighborhood.

One of the best things about vacationing in South Lake Tahoe is there is something to love rain or shine, heat or snow year-round in this region.

Here’s a little something to fall for with each new home (click the image of the home for more pictures and a chance to start planning your stay):

You will fall for the stunning mountain decor in this sleek 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom Marina Modern home overlooking the water in the Tahoe Keys.

Our newest Lakeland Village Mountain Comfort home with 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms has comfortable sleeping for up to 12 people, including a fun loft level the kids will adore.

You and your family will want to begin traditions that last a lifetime in this 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom home tucked away in the peaceful neighborhood of Tahoe Island.

We are thrilled to welcome these new additions to RnR Vacation Rentals. If none of our newbies quite fit what your group is looking for, then click on over to our website and check out the rest of our homes.

Tahoe Games Bike Night

The sun might be setting earlier now that it’s fall, but the fun doesn’t have stop just because it’s dark out. Grab your bikes, grab your family & friends, and get glowing!

Tahoe Games are bringing their 5th and final Bike Night to the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. This event consists of riding approximately 6 miles around the golf course, which will be illuminated for a night of adventure. Bring a helmet and strap on your lights, because this course doesn’t shy away from the rough, sand traps, bridges, and fairways.

When: The event is on Friday, September 30th. Registration starts at 6:00pm, a practice lap is at 7:40pm, the official race is at 8:00pm, and a raffle will take place after between 9:00-10:00pm.

Where: The Lake Tahoe Golf Course

Cost: It is free to attend the event and watch the night-riders, but if you’d like to participate the cost is $20. You can register at the event from 6:00-7:30pm.

For more information and a detailed schedule for the night, check out the Tahoe Games website.

If you need a place to crash after a night of illuminated family fun, check out RnR Vacation Rentals. Our Paradise Playland and Sierra View Estate homes are within 3 miles of the event at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course.

Oktoberfest in South Lake Tahoe

Good news: if you like South Lake Tahoe, brews, traditional German food, family-friendly fun, and free events then Oktoberfest is the function for you!

South Lake Tahoe is getting culturally festive as it welcomes Oktoberfest back to Camp Richardson. The event will take place on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd from 10:00am-5:00pm each day at the Camp Richardson Resort. The festival has activities for everyone in the family.

For the kids: check out the craft booths, face painting, bounce house, bungee jump, or pick up a pumpkin early in the fall season at the pumpkin patch.

For the grown-ups: peruse the beer & wine garden, shop for locally-made products, or get competitive and take a crack at the stein-holding competition or bratwurst-eating competition.

For anyone: the Gruber Family Band will be playing traditional polka music, and there’s bound to be a space to show off your dance moves. Take a bite out of the bountiful spread of German foods and desserts.

For the dogs: bring your pooch! This event is animal-friendly (but please make sure your dog is leashed). There is a costume contest for humans and furry companions alike. Dress yourself and your dog in your best lederhosen and you might come away with a win!

Admission to this event is free, but bring some extra bucks to participate in all the food & fun!

Camp Richardson’s 22nd annual Oktoberfest is just under a month away, so it’s time to start planning your stay. RnR Vacation rentals has homes available in the Tahoe Keys, which is only 2.6 miles from Camp Richardson & the festivities. Check out Tahoe Keys Tradition, Tahoe Keys Villa, or Tahoe Marina Shores and book a fun-filled fall weekend getaway!
